Certified Public Accountant – Client-facing Presence & Accounting Support

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant to provide client‑facing bookkeeping and accounting support for small and medium‑sized businesses. This fully remote, full‑time position requires a confident on‑camera presence to explain financial concepts clearly to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting financial results and answering questions via video calls.
• Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including bank and credit‑card reconciliations, payroll support, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare and present financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements.
• Oversee month‑end close processes, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain audit‑ready records in QuickBooks Online and other accounting systems.
• Identify and flag discrepancies, unusual transactions, or process gaps for management.

Required profile

• Advanced bookkeeping experience with end‑to‑end ownership of client books.
• Teaching or client‑facing experience explaining finance/accounting concepts.
• Educational background in education/teaching combined with accounting coursework.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, comfortable on video calls.
• Formal accounting education or credentials.
