Capital Markets Analyst (Financial Modeling & Structured Finance)

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a fast‑growing U.S. commercial real‑estate lending platform. The analyst will act as the in‑house expert for building, auditing and maintaining sophisticated financial models that drive securitization, bond analysis and portfolio cash‑flow forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex Excel models for securitization transactions and loan‑level cash‑flow projections.
• Model portfolio performance across multiple scenarios, including interest‑rate, prepayment and default sensitivities.
• Analyze retained bond yields, investment performance and recommend optimized capital structures.
• Audit existing models for accuracy, validate assumptions and ensure model integrity.
• Translate large data sets into actionable financial insights for senior leadership.
• Prepare recurring analytical reports, investor updates and capital‑markets presentations.
• Research market trends affecting commercial real‑estate finance and structured lending.
