Buyer – Sourcing & Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an innovative Buyer to lead sourcing projects for our client. The role focuses on cost‑effective procurement of goods and services while ensuring quality, performance and compliance with the client’s procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing and contracting for indirect spend categories with an annual spend of up to $250,000 USD per event.
• Run the full RFx lifecycle (RFI, RFP, RFQ), facilitate supplier selection, issue documentation and evaluate responses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into contracts.
• Draft, negotiate and execute contracts such as MSAs, NDAs, Statements of Work and Change Orders.
• Conduct supplier negotiations, onboarding and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
• Perform market intelligence, cost‑benefit analysis and benchmarking to support fair value determinations.
• Complete pre‑transaction due diligence, risk assessment and obtain necessary legal, finance and security approvals.
• Verify that contracts are reviewed and approved according to the authority matrix before execution.

Required profile

• Student or graduate in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, negotiation and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
