Business Intelligence Solutions Specialist

About the role

The Business Intelligence Solutions Specialist will support Legal and Compliance operations by designing, developing, and implementing data‑driven solutions that improve decision‑making, operational efficiency, and business performance. The role works closely with Legal, Compliance, IT and external vendors to turn business requirements into reporting, analytics, automation and technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and security.
• Design and maintain scalable data models and write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Build and support ETL processes, Power Query transformations and automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Integrate enterprise systems via APIs and web services, and document technical specifications.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, coordinate testing (including UAT) and drive user adoption.
• Lead BI and process‑improvement projects, develop project plans, monitor timelines, manage risks and communicate status to leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Analysis or related fields.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Administration or equivalent.

• Power BI (including DAX, semantic modelling and performance optimisation)
• SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Power Query (M) for data preparation
• Power Automate for workflow automation
• API integration (REST, web services)
• Python for analytics and automation (optional but mentioned as helpful)
• Data modelling and ETL design
• Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart for process mapping
