Business Controller – SAP S/4HANA (Buenos Aires)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Business Controller to join its finance team in the western Greater Buenos Aires area. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, control processes, and provide actionable insights for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting, including monthly and year‑end closings and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, regulatory and audit requirements.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis.
• Monitor and optimise working capital – cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventories.
• Oversee industrial costing, inventory valuation and cost variance analysis.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics and Commercial teams to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and management reports to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and controlling roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Analytical, strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.

• SAP S/4HANA ERP system.
