Billing Operations Associate

About the role

The ITAD Billing Operations Associate owns the financial side of the IT Asset Disposition program, ensuring accurate settlement of revenue from resale and recycling partners. You will investigate discrepancies, reconcile data, and supervise AI‑driven workflows to automate financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ingest and clean settlement and revenue reports from multiple partners.
• Reconcile device‑level and order‑level ITAD revenue against bank deposits.
• Investigate unmatched records, ambiguous serials, and variances.
• Own end‑to‑end credit issuance workflow in partnership with Finance.
• Raise and resolve discrepancies with vendor partners.
• Produce executive‑ready financial reports on revenue and margin.
• Review Certificates of Destruction and match them to devices.
• Monitor ITAD action queues to meet SOPs and service level objectives.
• Support shipment and recycling order workflows with warehouses and partners.
• Maintain and enrich internal database of fair market value estimates per device.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in reconciliation, cash applications, billing, audit, accounts payable/receivable, or financial operations.
• Proven ability to find and resolve discrepancies, not just process transactions.
• Strong judgment to identify issues and confidence to escalate.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple parallel workflows.
• Comfortable working with structured SOPs and eager to improve them.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, text‑to‑columns, deduplication).
• Strong spoken and written English.
