Bilingual Medical Receptionist/Admin – Remote (English/Spanish)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate bilingual medical receptionist/administrator to support a growing behavioral health practice. This fully remote position requires excellent communication in both English and Spanish and strong administrative abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and assist patients in English and Spanish.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and update patient demographics.
• Manage referrals, faxes, and medical records.
• Respond to patient inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
• Perform general administrative and data‑entry tasks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Previous experience as a medical receptionist, virtual medical assistant, or healthcare administrative assistant preferred.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer‑service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to use Time Doctor and a HIPAA‑compliant virtual desktop.

Required skills

• Experience with EHR/EMR systems.
• Proficiency in using Time Doctor.
• Familiarity with HIPAA‑compliant virtual desktop environments.

What we offer

• Hourly compensation of $6.00 for the first 90 days, increasing to $7.00 thereafter.
