Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Argentina. You will work on the Fury services platform, delivering secure, high-performance features for the Offering domain while collaborating with cross-functional consumer teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable architecture for Fury services with a focus on security, performance and cost efficiency.
• Plan, develop and ship end-to-end features and APIs that evolve the Offering domain.
• Maintain and improve platform reliability through observability, KPI monitoring, resilience engineering and faster deployment cycles.
• Provide technical support and data-driven insights to consumer teams.
• Integrate AI-based validation, classification and development/operation assistants into backend workflows.

Required profile

• Solid experience developing backend services in Java.
• Product mindset with ownership of features from design to production.
• Ability to design services, APIs and integrations using sound judgment.
• Proficiency in interpreting metrics and alerts to guide technical decisions.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
