AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with strong Linux expertise to join our client’s engineering team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and developers to deliver reliable, automated infrastructure for cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Linux‑based production environments on AWS.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet or Chef.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Maven, Gradle and support Java and Node.js application deployments.
• Manage relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server) and integrate Linux systems with Active Directory.
• Containerize applications with Docker and oversee artifact repositories such as Artifactory.
• Implement monitoring and observability using tools like Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to internal libraries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience with Linux server administration, security hardening and backups.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and cloud automation.
