Associate Director, Project Management

About the role

DEPT is hiring an Associate Director, Delivery for its Buenos Aires office. The role sits in the Delivery team and manages the successful execution of high-value digital campaigns and projects across media engagements, working cross-functionally to turn strategic direction into on-time, on-brief delivery. It acts as a central liaison between internal teams and clients, advocating for process efficiency and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage mid-sized to large-scale digital campaigns (agency budgets typically $500K to $1M+) covering digital marketing strategy, media planning, SEA, social and programmatic advertising, SEO, content and analytics
• Define scope, deliverables, timelines and resourcing plans, drive end-to-end execution and monitor project financials (estimates, actuals, ETC, EAC)
• Streamline workflows, improve delivery processes and templates, and champion consistent documentation, QA and project standards
• Serve as a key client point of contact, prepare agendas, run project meetings and document decisions and action items
• Mentor junior project managers informally and contribute to internal discussions on delivery improvement

Required profile

• 5-7 years of experience in digital project or program management, with ownership of large engagements or multi-track workstreams
• Experience managing single projects with budgets of $1M+ from end to end
• Proven media agency experience delivering for English-speaking client accounts
• Strong client-facing stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment

Required skills

• Performance marketing: digital strategy, media planning, SEA, social and programmatic advertising, SEO, content and analytics
• Familiarity with agile, waterfall and hybrid approaches (e.g. Scrumfall)
• Jira, Trello and G Suite
• Financial awareness: estimating, budget tracking and profitability reporting
