Associate Director, Access and Value - Southern Cone

About the role

The Associate Director, Access and Value will lead strategic planning and implementation of health outcomes programs that support product launch, value proposition, pricing, access, and reimbursement for BioMarin therapies across the Southern Cone region.

Key responsibilities

• Execute strategies to overcome patient‑level barriers to product access.
• Monitor and profile the reimbursement environment, tracking government policy initiatives and commercial implications for both marketed and pipeline products.
• Utilize market research, advisory boards, and field inputs to assess market trends and business impact.
• Ensure BioMarin products are included in country‑specific reimbursement programs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop value‑based materials and support market access submissions.
• Partner with global market access teams to align value propositions, evidence generation plans, pricing approaches, and coverage frameworks.
• Participate in brand, government contracts, pricing, and other commercial activities.
