Associate Counsel

About the role

As an Associate Counsel you will lead end‑to‑end contracting for clinical, commercial and corporate agreements, partnering with business stakeholders and various internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of contracts including vendor master agreements, consulting agreements, SaaS licences and data‑privacy agreements.
• Collaborate with Risk Management, Procurement, Data Privacy and global legal teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Provide contractual advice, structure agreements and handle escalations from business units.
• Conduct legal research, respond to regulatory inquiries and train internal staff on legal matters.

Required profile

• JD/LLM/LLB or equivalent degree and admission to practice law.
• In‑house transactional experience supporting procurement or vendor functions in a global organisation.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent negotiation, risk identification and issue‑escalation capabilities.
