Assistant Cost Manager – Real Estate Construction Projects

About the role

The Assistant Cost Manager will support the cost management of real‑estate construction projects, working closely with project teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting and cost control throughout all design phases.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare estimations for each design phase and develop the primary project budget.
• Monitor, control and prepare valuations, including weekly progress reports and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Participate in value‑engineering sessions and analyse change orders.
• Collect market cost data, support quotation processes and quantify materials and labour.
• Develop progress measurement criteria with vendors and review budgets after design package issuance.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret commercial and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Fluent in English.
