Architectural Engineering Expert

About the role

We create high‑quality STEM training data for frontier AI models. As an Architectural Engineering Expert you will design rigorous, deterministic problems that challenge state‑of‑the‑art AI systems and provide verified solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design advanced architectural engineering problems for AI training and evaluation, ensuring each has exactly one correct answer.
• Develop scenarios that integrate building systems, structural design, HVAC, lighting, acoustics, energy performance, or building physics.
• Use computational modeling, BIM, energy simulation, or other engineering tools to validate solutions and document the reasoning process.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Architectural Engineering, Building Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong research or industry experience with building systems, structural systems, or energy performance.
• Excellent quantitative, technical problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, EnergyPlus, Rhino/Grasshopper, IES VE, OpenStudio, MATLAB, or Python.
• Solid understanding of building physics and integrated building systems.

What we offer

• Up to $40 USD per hour.
• Contract, part‑time (20 hours/week) for an initial 2‑month project with possible extension.
