Application and SQL Database Support Engineer – Secure Access

About the role

EY is looking for an experienced Application and SQL Database Support Engineer to join its Secure Access team. You will support and maintain Secure Access solutions, ensuring stability, efficiency and compliance across a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Create and manage batch and PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Use SQL Server Management Studio for database management and performance tuning.
• Design and develop Power BI Report Builder reports to meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot data‑related issues, log incidents and prioritize based on severity.
• Perform application deployment and configuration in server environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders and external vendors to ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and across global, matrixed teams.
