AML/KYC Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AML/KYC Team Lead to drive a high‑performing compliance team. This role blends deep AML/KYC expertise with people‑focused leadership, ensuring both team success and robust business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of AML/KYC professionals, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
• Support growth and development of team members through regular feedback, mentoring, and career conversations.
• Create an engaging work environment that promotes accountability, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
• Set priorities, manage workloads, and ensure delivery of high‑quality results while meeting compliance requirements.
• Act as trusted advisor and escalation point for complex AML/KYC cases, applying sound judgment and technical expertise.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team effectiveness and operational excellence.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Business teams.
• Contribute to the evolution of policies, procedures, and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and developing teams, with a genuine passion for people leadership.
• Previous experience in AML/KYC and compliance environments.
• Strong knowledge of AML, CTF, sanctions, and financial‑crime regulations.
• Advanced English skills.
• Degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
