About the role

Sezzle is looking for an AI Engineer I to join its Applied AI team. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on AI‑driven features that enhance both customer experiences and internal workflows in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop AI‑powered platforms and systems alongside senior engineers.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex projects, from problem discovery to production rollout.
• Build intelligent automation, agentic systems, and AI‑driven features for customer‑facing products and internal tools.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing workflows, APIs, data layers, and frontend interfaces.
• Translate business and operational problems into maintainable AI‑enabled solutions.
