About the role

We are looking for an experienced and highly autonomous Agentic Software Engineer III to lead complex technical initiatives and shape the future of AI‑assisted software development workflows. The position is fully remote, serving teams in Colombia and Argentina, and offers the chance to own end‑to‑end projects, modernize platforms, and mentor fellow engineers.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver scalable full‑stack applications and services.
Lead development of complex technical initiatives and features.
Build scalable APIs and distributed systems.
Utilize AI coding agents to improve software quality and engineering productivity.
Design and improve internal engineering automation workflows.
Contribute to AI‑powered development best practices.
Participate in cloud‑native and distributed systems architecture.
Review scalability, performance, security, and reliability considerations.
Support modernization initiatives across engineering systems.
Mentor junior engineers and help define engineering standards.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Design, and Leadership teams.
Participate in technical planning and architecture discussions.

Required profile

5–8 years of software engineering experience.
Strong ownership mentality and technical leadership.
Ability to work autonomously in high‑impact environments.
Advanced English proficiency (C1 preferred).
Passion for modern AI‑assisted development practices.
Experience in startup or high‑growth product environments (nice to have).

Required skills

TypeScript / JavaScript
Python
C# / .NET
React, Next.js, Vue, Angular
Design and implementation of scalable APIs and microservices
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Hands‑on use of AI coding tools in production
Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud‑native systems
Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices
Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ (nice to have)
LangChain, RAG, MCP, GraphRAG, AI infrastructure (nice to have)
