Agentic Coding Engineer

About the role

As an Agentic Coding Engineer you will join AspenView’s Agentic Development practice, building AI‑driven software delivery pipelines. You will work closely with product and delivery teams to ship production‑ready code by orchestrating intelligent coding agents, designing tool integrations, and creating safe, auditable multi‑agent workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Direct AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex) through a prompt → diff → test → review loop to ship and refactor features.
• Decompose complex tasks for sub‑agents, defining clear triggers, narrow responsibilities and least‑privilege tool access.
• Design, build and operate MCP servers that connect agents to databases, APIs, logs and internal systems.
• Implement authentication, scoped OAuth 2.1 authorization, short‑lived tokens and secure secret handling.
• Establish guardrails, permission models and human‑in‑the‑loop review checkpoints for autonomous changes.
• Develop evaluations, regression checks and observability (logging, tracing, metrics, rate limiting) for continuous agent performance improvement.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience in building production‑grade systems.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted coding tools or similar agentic technologies.
• Security‑first mindset, comfortable designing authentication and authorization flows.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional, fast‑moving teams.
