Accounting Services Manager – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Services Manager to independently manage a portfolio of small and medium‑sized business clients across Latin America. You will own the client relationship, oversee full‑cycle accounting, and collaborate with a dedicated bookkeeper to deliver accurate financials and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SMB clients, acting as the primary accounting point of contact.
• Perform month‑end close, reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenue, and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Handle GST/HST and sales‑tax filings accurately and on schedule.
• Review financial statements and explain results to business owners.
• Maintain and optimise integrations with fintech tools such as Stripe, Dext, Plooto, and Ramp.
• Collaborate with a supporting bookkeeper to ensure clean, timely books.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to improve efficiency and workflows.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience with SMB clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading client calls.
• Professional presentation, including optional video introduction.
• Willingness to provide professional references and update LinkedIn if hired.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Experience with fintech platforms such as Stripe, Dext, Plooto, Ramp.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
