Accounting Manager – Remote

About the role

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting work for a portfolio of fast‑growing technology and fintech clients. This remote, full‑time position offers ownership of client relationships and the chance to influence broader advisory initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of accounting, month‑end close, reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR and financial statements.
• Review and guarantee quality, consistency and accuracy of all client deliverables, while coaching junior accountants.
• Collaborate directly with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to resolve complex accounting issues and provide strategic guidance.
• Support year‑end compilations, audits, reviews and tax‑related work, and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Big Four experience required, demonstrating high‑quality standards and client‑facing expertise.
• Strong communication skills in English, able to explain financial concepts clearly.
• Self‑starter who can make independent decisions and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
