Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will drive strategic planning, budgeting and monthly estimate processes for the brand(s). The role involves analysing performance metrics, providing strategic recommendations and supporting regional business plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead brand strategic planning, annual budgeting and monthly estimate processes.
• Analyse productivity, COGS, category mix, A&P and other KPIs to maximise affiliate performance.
• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to regional management.
• Consolidate brand results, ensure compliance with financial policies and coordinate with regional finance and affiliate teams.
• Support execution of business plans, including new brand launches and channel initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing, demand planning and supply chain to validate sales assumptions and forecasts.
• Prepare business presentations and evaluate financial forecasts, risks and opportunities.
• Lead projects on financial discipline, cost‑saving initiatives, consolidation across affiliates and implementation of management accounting processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance/Accounting with at least 10 years of finance experience, preferably in retail or sales affiliate environments.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or CIMA.
• Strong leadership, business acumen and ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
• Proven experience as a finance business partner to senior management.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of CPM (Corporate Performance Management) systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Oracle or OneStream CPM.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence tools.
