Accounting Manager

About the role

TGG Accounting, a U.S.-based financial services firm, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own client accounting outcomes using the proven TGG Way methodology. You will lead a remote team of Staff Accountants, ensure high‑quality financial statements, and uphold robust controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee weekly operations: AR cycle, vendor bill approval, payroll, P&L scrubs, cash‑flow forecasts, and collections.
• Lead month‑end close: complete technical QA checklists, reconcile balance‑sheet schedules, review journal entries, and approve financial packages.
• Manage quarterly and annual compliance: coordinate 1099 filings, review chart of accounts, and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Drive new client implementation: audit existing processes, document SOPs, build core financial templates, and train Staff Accountants.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience with exposure to U.S. GAAP.
• Proven experience managing or supervising a team.
• Demonstrated ability to work with U.S.-based clients in a structured, high‑accountability remote environment.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
