Accounting Analyst (Semi-Senior)

About the role

AppDirect, a subscription commerce platform, is hiring an Accounting Analyst (semi-senior) in Buenos Aires. You will join a small team of 3 to 5 people reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting (PartnerStack Controller). The role combines recurring daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks with project work to meet requirements and improve processes. The schedule is hybrid: one day onsite and four days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Record economic transactions in the accounting system and other platforms
• Carry out month-end close, including reconciliations and consolidations
• File certain tax items such as sales or franchise taxes
• Support audit season by communicating with auditors and providing samples
• Take part in accounts receivable and payable functions, including follow-ups on delinquents, setting up vendors and customers, and recording inflows and outflows
• Process new sales orders and set up contracts
• Manage cash across several platforms
• Help other team members and departments with ad hoc requests
• Communicate with external parties, mainly clients and vendors
• Track and update figures and reports

Required profile

• Completed or actively pursued CPA designation (or related field)
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Attention to detail and critical thinking when dealing with repetitive tasks or large volumes of data

Required skills

• Advanced Excel functions
• Working knowledge of accounting software, preferably NetSuite
• Preferred: exposure to audits, sales and income tax, and compliance basics
• Preferred: familiarity with Salesforce contracts and banking/payment portals such as Stripe, PayPal and Airwallex
