About the role
This is a senior commercial leadership position for a global fintech firm, responsible for shaping and scaling the SME channel distribution strategy across Latin America and the Caribbean. The role combines strategic planning, partner development, and hands‑on sales execution while operating remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead the regional strategy for SME channel distribution, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Identify, engage and build relationships with decision‑makers at new partner organizations and key customers.
- Drive end‑to‑end sales processes, from lead qualification through negotiation to deal closure.
- Recruit, coach and develop a high‑performing team of specialist sales professionals.
- Foster a data‑driven culture, monitor performance against targets, and refine tactics accordingly.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences and senior partner meetings.
- Ensure consistent CRM adoption and accurate reporting across the region.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align priorities and influence broader strategy.
Required profile
- Extensive senior‑level experience in sales leadership, channel distribution, partnerships or business development.
- Deep knowledge of channel ecosystems, partner onboarding and ongoing management.
- Proven track record selling or supporting financial products for SMEs.
- Background in fintech, payments, acquiring, issuing, acceptance or embedded finance.
- Ability to act as a player‑coach, balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of channel partnership models.
- Experience with CRM tools and data‑driven sales management.
