About the role
The Time & Attendance Specialist will ensure accurate and efficient management of time‑keeping activities for Remote's external employees and client teams. This individual contributor role focuses on legal compliance, data integrity, and delivering a seamless employee experience while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end time and attendance processes for external staff across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain high‑quality documentation and data integrity.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Time & Attendance Manager and cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience handling employee lifecycle events with legal compliance.
- Strong communication, influencing, and conflict‑management abilities.
- Business‑level proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Self‑starter who can work independently in an asynchronous, remote environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
