Full Stack Engineer (Node/React)

About the role

Coperniq is on a mission to revolutionize the renewable energy industry with cutting‑edge software solutions. Backed by Y Combinator and Initialized Capital, the company is building the infrastructure for clean‑energy contractors. We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the development and scaling of our platform, collaborating across product, design, and QA to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure full‑stack solutions.
• Build and enhance web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA teams to align on requirements and deliver high‑quality features.
• Define and implement best practices for software development and deployment.
• Optimize application performance and scalability for growing user demands.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and contribute to the product roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with a deep understanding of software engineering principles.
• 7+ years of full‑stack development experience with a balanced skill set across frontend and backend (approximately 60/40 split).
• Proficiency in the tech stack: AWS, React, GraphQL, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, MikroORM, PostgreSQL, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience designing user interactions, writing server‑side API calls, and integrating front‑end and back‑end components.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a track record of thriving in dynamic environments.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience leading projects from conception through implementation and feedback integration.
