Solutions Architect – Platform, Cloud Infrastructure & Security

About the role

At SunnyData, a leading Databricks technology partner, the Solutions Architect – Platform, Cloud Infrastructure and Security will design and implement scalable data infrastructure while ensuring security and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding data engineering and architecture needs with a focus on Databricks solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy comprehensive data solutions that support AI, ML, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales teams to present technical solutions and demonstrate the value of SunnyData’s offerings.
• Manage multiple customer accounts, ensuring timely delivery and reporting outcomes.
• Architect data solutions incorporating best practices in governance, security, and quality.
• Evaluate data sources, recommend inclusion strategies, and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Perform system analysis, resolve data and system defects, and ensure quality through testing.

Required profile

• 7+ years as a hands‑on Solutions Architect with data security experience.
• Expertise in two or more areas such as Cloud Security, Networking, Encryption, Governance, Identity Management, or Access Control.
• Experience designing data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP using best‑practice cloud security and networking.
• Strong client‑facing communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
