Associate Counsel – Vendor Contracts

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking an Associate Counsel to provide end‑to‑end legal support for vendor contracts across clinical, commercial and corporate functions. The role involves drafting, negotiating and managing a variety of sophisticated agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with contracting for clinical, commercial and corporate vendor agreements, including service agreements, licensing, SaaS, HR and staffing contracts.
• Negotiate with vendors’ legal teams and advise business units on contractual matters and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Data Privacy and Sourcing to support contracting processes.
• Coordinate with global legal teams to drive completion of worldwide contracts.

Required profile

• JD/LLM/LLB or equivalent degree from an accredited university and fully qualified lawyer.
• Experience in law firm or in‑house environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical, relationship‑building and independent judgment skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines and handle a high volume of contracts.
