Senior Associate - Business Continuity Planning

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is looking for a local Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Senior Associate based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The role reports to the GDS BCP leadership and sits within the EY GDS ECRM (Ethics, Compliance and Risk Management) BCP team, supporting compliance with internal policy requirements and the state of readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Support GDS local and central teams in crisis management, incident management and related logistics and reporting.
• Support the development, implementation and maintenance of business continuity plans.
• Work closely with Service Lines to strengthen the program and its relationships.
• Help stakeholders coordinate and run risk assessments, resilience assessments, business impact analyses and their refresh.
• Coordinate and support the business during a real crisis.
• Review and monitor projects with the GDS BCP Program Office and identify recoverability gaps and risks.
• Ensure plans comply with internal policy, local regulations and Service Line requirements.
• Support rollout of the BCP framework to new GDS centers, cities and countries.
• Run BCP exercises and walkthroughs, including full-scale ones, tailored to the business and its internal customers.
• Maintain knowledge of EY GDS operations, industry trends, and deploy, maintain and enhance the team's tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Graduate or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of work experience, including at least 2 years in Business Continuity Planning.
• Ability to work across cultures and time zones, meet tight deadlines, and act independently with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Project management and exposure to tools design and implementation.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, bots, RPA, and tools like Archer, Everbridge, SharePoint, SAP, Power BI and Power Apps.
• Ideally: experience in large matrix organizations, strong knowledge of business recovery and testing methodologies, and BCP certification (e.g. ABCP, CBV, ISO 22301).
