Associate Analyst - Cross Border Travel Support

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is hiring an Associate Analyst for its Cross Border Travel Support (CBTS) function, which sits within Risk Management. The CBTS team supports engagements in planning and deploying cross-border resources and coordinates transactional support for cross-border travelers. The Associate completes CBTS work according to established policies and procedures, taking into account risk mitigation and service level agreements, while building positive relationships with stakeholders and travelers. The role reports to the Assistant Manager / Supervising Analyst.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on requests from Risk Management consultants and assist the client team to complete the process.
• Review submissions from client teams for completeness, accuracy and appropriateness, applying knowledge of firm and regulator risk management rules and policies.
• Act as a liaison between client teams, the Risk Management team and other functional areas, and answer client questions.
• Plan and organize your own work, keep others informed of status, and give feedback to improve processes.
• Work independently to meet the CBTS Case Manager and traveler requirements for a successful business travel experience.
• Take part in regular and ad-hoc meetings with the onshore team and communicate expectations, capacity and training needs with Case Managers and regional stakeholders such as Internal Tax and Immigration experts, Talent and Procurement.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree.
• 1 to 3 years of work experience.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts, due to the global nature of the role.
• Relevant certifications are an added advantage.

Required skills

• Good written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage larger teams, prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities.
• MS Office tools: Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.
