Technical Director – LATAM (Buenos Aires)

About the role

The Technical Director LATAM will lead the technical delivery of Betsson Group’s products across the Latin American markets from our Buenos Aires office. You will act as both a product and technical advisor to the LATAM Commercial Teams, ensuring optimal value, regulatory compliance, and KPI reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership and align the team with company goals.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for LATAM Commercial Teams, handling incidents and support.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy for LATAM markets, covering infrastructure, software development and support.
• Oversee infrastructure management to guarantee high availability, performance and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and deliver market‑specific features and enhancements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with LATAM betting regulations and ensure full compliance.
• Manage relationships with third‑party providers, ensuring they meet commitments.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks affecting operations.

Required profile

• Extensive technical expertise with a proven track record in the gaming or online betting industry.
• Deep understanding of LATAM market regulations and online gaming compliance.
• Strong ability to work with platform architects, engineering teams and commercial stakeholders.
• Experience in reporting and analysing KPIs such as growth, costs and SLA performance.
