Remote Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting operations for our U.S.-based clients. The role is fully remote and ideal for professionals who thrive in fast‑moving startup environments while maintaining rigorous U.S. accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for U.S. clients, including reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery.
• Apply startup accounting principles to balance best practices with resource constraints.
• Integrate and optimize external applications with QuickBooks Online.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and vendor/client interactions.
• Utilize tools such as QuickBooks Online, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Google Drive daily.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and AI use cases that can improve accounting efficiency.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S. companies; CPA certification preferred.
• Proven experience managing external stakeholders, preferably from public accounting or client‑facing roles.
• Strong understanding of startup accounting practices and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Fluent professional English, both written and verbal.
