Python Software Engineer – Backend & Onboarding

About the role

Software Mind is looking for a skilled Python Software Engineer to join a dynamic team serving a US client that is transforming the asset‑based lending industry. You will focus on building and improving the client onboarding experience for a platform that processes billions of dollars in transactions each year.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the customer onboarding process, ensuring accurate system integration.
• Drive process improvements by developing best practices and identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Oversee multiple onboarding projects simultaneously, delivering on time and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clients on custom configurations and tailor solutions to their specific needs.
• Develop and maintain onboarding features using Python/Flask, NextJS/React, and Tailwind CSS.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a backend software engineer with strong Python (Flask) expertise.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and familiarity with other database systems.
• Experience in frontend development using React.
• Strong knowledge of Git for version control and SQL for data queries.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and embrace rapid prototyping.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams.
