Python Engineer – Cloud & IAM Solutions

About the role

Blend is seeking a Python Engineer to design and implement scalable, cloud‑based data and identity platforms. The role will focus on building Python services and integrations that support Identity and Access Management (IAM) and data access frameworks, working with distributed teams across Uruguay and Argentina.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python‑based services and integrations for IAM and access management platforms.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise.
• Onboard internally hosted, SaaS, and homegrown applications into centralized data and access frameworks.
• Implement integrations between IAM tools (e.g., Okta, ServiceNow, IGA solutions) and enterprise platforms.
• Perform data mapping and management to integrate user access data.
• Build and maintain AWS resources, serverless functions, and reusable Terraform modules.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and quality standards.
• Collaborate to ensure platform reliability, security, and scalability.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience developing, debugging, and testing Python applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform (preferably Terraform Enterprise).
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora RDS, SNS, SQS, and ALB.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures, serverless or containerized solutions.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, version control, and basic CI/CD.
