Marketing Assistant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our US‑based digital marketing consultancy. The role focuses on social media management, website optimization, and high‑level content creation for a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Social Media Management: create, design (Canva) and schedule engaging posts, perform basic video editing, and ensure flawless grammar.
• Content & Copywriting: write press releases, blogs, newsletters and promotional emails that resonate with target audiences.
• Digital Auditing: conduct and document digital audits to uncover growth opportunities.
• Website & Directory Management: make basic edits on WordPress, Wix and Shopify; manage Google Business Listings and Yelp for accuracy and conversion.
• SEO Optimization: improve on‑page SEO (meta tags, alt text, site structure) and monitor site speed and user experience.
• Account Support: assist the supervisor with account management tasks and special projects as needed.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, website optimization or digital marketing.
• Proficiency with Canva and basic video editing.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Wix and social media scheduling tools.
• Strong English grammar and ability to produce professional blogs and press releases.
• Experience in a digital marketing agency and managing online directories is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, with excellent written and oral communication skills.

What we offer

• Fully remote work with US Federal holidays.
• Working hours 9:00 am – 5:00 pm CST.
• Monthly salary between USD 800 and USD 1000.
