Logistics Analyst – Transportation & Expediting

About the role

Ecolab is seeking an Associate Logistics Analyst to support its North American logistics operations. The role focuses on managing expedite requests, optimizing shipment scheduling, and ensuring smooth transportation flows across an assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily expedite requests, schedule shipments, and source carriers to meet regional needs.
• Use Transportation Management Software (TMS) to rate, schedule, and route shipments.
• Monitor in‑transit shipments, track‑and‑trace, and resolve delays with internal and external customers.
• Communicate order status, product availability, and inventory issues via phone and email.
• Maintain accurate daily expedite order cut‑offs aligned with warehouse workflows.
• Control transportation costs within contractual and budgetary guidelines.
• Provide team coverage and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in logistics or transportation operations.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, or ability to be trained.
• Strong analytical abilities and effective written and verbal communication.
• Capacity to adapt to change, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities.
