Legal Specialist – Transactional Law & AI Platform

About the role

Scissero is seeking a Legal Specialist to support live private equity, M&A, and financing transactions for global investment firms, asset managers, and corporates. You will work with an AI‑enhanced platform to draft, review, and negotiate NDAs and related transaction documents while ensuring alignment with client‑approved playbooks.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and ancillary transaction documents across private equity, M&A, and financing deals.
• Apply client‑specific playbooks and structured frameworks to maintain consistency with sponsor‑side legal and commercial positions.
• Identify deviations from playbook language and insert appropriate fallback clauses.
• Manage your own workflow and document queue to meet defined turnaround times and service levels.
• Support multiple concurrent transactions in fast‑paced environments.
• Collaborate with the global legal team to ensure high‑quality, consistent delivery.
• Work with product and engineering teams to refine AI tools that underpin the delivery model.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and delivery workflows.

Required profile

• Experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents in private equity, M&A, or financing contexts.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate legal work at scale.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑enabled legal platforms for document review and deviation identification.
