Lawyer – International Commercial Transactions

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a qualified attorney to join its Business Support Center Argentina team in Puerto Madero. The lawyer will provide legal support to ExxonMobil business units across the United States, Argentina, and other jurisdictions, handling a broad range of transactional, commercial, regulatory, and operational matters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day legal advice to business units and build relationships with key leaders.
• Lead and support commercial transactions, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating goods and services contracts.
• Represent ExxonMobil affiliates in negotiations with third parties, including governments, partners, suppliers, and manufacturers.
• Conduct legal research, analyze issues, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Prepare and present training materials and other legal content for internal audiences.
• Collaborate with the ExxonMobil Law Department and cross‑functional teams such as tax, regulatory, and finance.

Required profile

• Law degree and license to practice law in Argentina.
• LLM from a U.S. university or a U.S. bar license (strongly preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Minimum of three years of relevant legal experience.
