Industry Analyst – Energy & Environment

About the role

Frost & Sullivan is looking for an experienced Industry Analyst to join its Energy team in Buenos Aires. This mid‑to‑senior research position focuses on delivering high‑impact market intelligence, forecasts, and insight‑driven analysis for the energy and environment sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of market research reports, providing clear, actionable insights backed by robust data.
• Design and execute primary research, including senior‑level interviews across the energy value chain.
• Build and maintain market sizing, forecasting, and scenario models with methodological rigor.
• Track technology, regulatory, and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Author strategic research reports and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global research, consulting, and commercial teams on client engagements and business development.
• Maintain and expand a network of industry contacts to validate insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, business, energy studies or related field; postgraduate degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience in energy market research, consulting, corporate strategy or a comparable analytical environment.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality written analysis in professional English.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data, trends, and strategic implications.
• Confidence engaging with senior industry stakeholders and presenting insights clearly.
