About the role
The Head of Commercial Argentina will define and execute the commercial strategy for Bristol Myers Squibb’s full portfolio, with a strategic focus on Onco‑Hematology. This senior leader will drive product launches, talent development, business expansion and cross‑functional collaboration across the global matrix.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement the business unit strategy, prioritising growth in Onco‑Hematology and aligning with global and regional priorities.
- Lead planning, coordination and execution of major product launches, partnering with Marketing, Medical, Access, Supply, Digital and Global/Regional teams.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the oncology‑hematology therapeutic landscape, competitive pipeline and market dynamics; build relationships with key opinion leaders, scientific societies and top institutions.
- Develop and execute access, pricing and negotiation strategies across public and private payers, navigating the Argentine healthcare system (PAMI, union‑based schemes, private insurers, provincial networks).
- Identify opportunities, anticipate access barriers and create innovative access models and strategic agreements.
- Lead, mentor and develop the commercial team to ensure high performance and succession planning.
Required profile
- Extensive senior‑level experience in commercial pharmaceutical roles, preferably within oncology or hematology.
- Proven track record of successful product launches and market expansion in Argentina.
- Strong understanding of the Argentine healthcare and payer environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
