VP of Operations (COO path) – Remote

About the role

Shapely is seeking a senior operations leader to serve as the operational backbone of its fast‑growing weight‑loss platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the systems, processes, and teams that keep the business running and enable scalable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and elevate the patient support team, setting quality standards, reducing response times, and building scalable workflows for onboarding and retention.
• Coordinate operational logistics across clinical, growth, product, and operations functions, including pharmacy partnerships and vendor relationships.
• Design, document, and automate efficient processes, working closely with the technology team to remove bottlenecks.
• Oversee billing and revenue‑cycle health, monitoring denial trends and collaborating with the billing manager on exceptions.
• Run the operating cadence—team meetings, OKRs, project tracking—to ensure alignment and execution as the company scales.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operations or support teams in a fast‑moving, regulated environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of process improvement and automation.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills and the ability to get hands‑on with day‑to‑day tasks.
• Comfortable working in a remote setting and managing distributed teams.
