Virtual Construction Project Manager

About the role

Globaltize is seeking a Virtual Construction Project Manager to support a residential development of eight townhome units in Norwalk, Connecticut. This is a fully remote, administrative position focused on coordinating the entire construction lifecycle from site work to certificate of occupancy.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the project in Buildertrend, including scheduling, budget tracking, and document management.
• Manage daily logs, RFIs, change orders, and punch lists within Buildertrend.
• Track project expenses in real time, handle purchase orders, subcontractor bids, and vendor invoices.
• Prepare and update a detailed cost tracker with variance reporting.
• Solicit and organize competitive quotes from subcontractors across all trades and maintain a bid‑leveling spreadsheet.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date master schedule, flagging delays or critical‑path risks.
• Organize all project documents, permits, plans, and photos in Buildertrend job folders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction administration.
• Strong knowledge of residential ground‑up construction processes.
• Conversational proficiency in English.
