Video Editor for Paid Social Ads

About the role

Nysonian is seeking a Video Editor to create high‑performing paid‑social video ads for its portfolio of global lifestyle brands. You will transform raw footage, UGC and influencer content into short‑form ads optimized for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms, directly influencing purchase decisions and ad spend.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce high‑quality video assets for paid social, websites and campaign initiatives.
• Craft compelling narratives with strong hooks, pacing and platform‑specific storytelling techniques.
• Convert long‑form content into TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts formats.
• Integrate motion graphics, captions, music and sound design to boost engagement.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters and strategists to align creative with brand and campaign goals.
• Analyze ad performance data and apply learnings to continuously improve future creatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communications or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of video‑editing experience in fast‑paced environments such as agencies, DTC or e‑commerce.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a high‑growth setting.
• Data‑driven mindset with a focus on CTR, engagement, conversion and ROAS.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or equivalent.
• Experience with AI‑driven video tools (e.g., Runway ML) to enhance production efficiency.
• Strong understanding of content formats and performance dynamics on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Meta.
• Motion graphics, basic animation and sound‑design capabilities.
