UX Product Researcher

About the role

Bask Health is seeking a Product Researcher to deepen understanding of its telehealth users, uncover meaningful problems, and turn evidence into better product decisions. You will work across product, design, engineering and other teams to identify key questions, investigate behavior, and translate ambiguous signals into clear opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Design to prioritize high‑value research questions before solutions are defined.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research across customers, operators, providers, and patients to uncover needs, motivations, and pain points.
• Build continuous relationships with users so research informs product development continuously.
• Combine interviews, usability testing, surveys, analytics, support feedback and business context to develop a complete understanding of user behavior.
• Identify unmet needs, inefficient workflows, emerging behaviors and translate findings into product strategy, roadmap and prioritization decisions.
• Design lightweight experiments and research approaches appropriate to the level of uncertainty.
• Work closely with designers throughout the product development process, from early concepts through prototypes and production experiences.
• Evaluate shipped experiences to determine whether product changes improved user behavior and outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Product, UX or User Research within a digital product organization.
• Track record of turning ambiguous product questions into actionable evidence that influences product decisions.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize large amounts of messy information into clear insights.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment where research methodology may need to be adapted.
• Pragmatic approach to research, knowing when rigorous investigation is needed versus a lightweight approach.

Required skills

• Qualitative research methods such as user interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, concept testing.
• Quantitative research signals including surveys, product analytics, experiments or behavioral data.
• Experience using modern AI tools to accelerate research workflows while maintaining critical judgment.
