Tech Ops Production Support & Reliability Lead (AWS)

About the role

We are seeking a Tech Ops Production Support & Reliability Lead to own front‑line support for Braviant’s multi‑account AWS environment. You will monitor systems, triage alerts, run automated playbooks and ensure clean escalation to development teams while maintaining a defensive ownership mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor AWS services (VPC, ECS, Lambda, IAM, NAT, security groups) and PostgreSQL RDS instances.
• Triage alerts, execute runbooks and coordinate incident response across infrastructure and application layers.
• Maintain SLA compliance in a ticketed environment (Jira/ITSM) and produce post‑incident documentation.
• Collaborate with developers via Slack and manage escalation paths.
• Perform basic PostgreSQL tuning, query analysis and vacuum operations.
• Utilize Datadog and CloudWatch for APM, logging and alerting.

Required profile

• 3+ years in production support, SRE, NOC or operations engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS networking, compute and IAM services.
• Operational knowledge of PostgreSQL on Amazon RDS.
• Proven ability to follow structured incident response frameworks (ITIL, NIST or equivalent).
• Strong written English for clear escalations and incident reports.
