Tax Manager – LATAM (Hybrid, Argentina)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Tax Manager to lead the statutory tax function for a fast‑growing fintech operating across Latin America. Based in Argentina with a hybrid/remote setup, you will oversee a regional team and ensure compliance for multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end statutory tax obligations and filings for a portfolio covering Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador.
• Lead and mentor a regional team of three or more senior tax professionals, providing structure and performance guidance.
• Oversee high‑stakes VAT recovery and reimbursement processes for transaction‑based taxes.
• Supervise BPO partners to guarantee technical consistency, quality and audit readiness.
• Support Tax Strategy and Sales teams on pricing, new‑business implementations and compliance.
• Design and implement internal compliance processes from scratch in a rapidly scaling environment.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in tax functions with a strong LATAM focus.
• Proven people‑leadership experience building multi‑country teams.
• Deep knowledge of tax credits recoverability and statutory obligations.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Product and Finance.
• Strong background in audit management and BPO oversight.
• Prior experience in fintech or payments is a strong plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
