Systems & DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & On‑Prem Infrastructure (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Systems & DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work alongside designers and engineers, focusing on Kubernetes orchestration and on‑premise infrastructure across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into the client’s engineering team and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers in enterprise production environments.
• Manage TCP/IP networking components, including routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, firewalls and SSL/TLS.
• Maintain load‑balancing solutions, preferably F5 BIG‑IP.
• Oversee virtualized infrastructure, host/cluster/resource management and enterprise storage (e.g., Pure Storage).
• Support web infrastructure components such as Apache, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB and related LAMP stack technologies.
• Administer NoSQL platforms like Couchbase.
• Implement containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Work with AWS and hybrid‑cloud environments, building CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms.
• Monitor systems using Grafana and Prometheus and automate tasks with Bash or Python.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems, infrastructure or network engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
