Supply Chain Finance Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Finance Manager is a key business partner to the Supply Chain Leadership Team, providing financial analysis and insights that support decision‑making, drive efficiency, optimise costs and enable strategic growth across the supply‑chain operations in the South Latin America cluster. The role reports to the Unit’s Finance Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual, periodic and long‑range financial planning and forecasting for the entire South Latam supply chain.
• Analyse performance and key cost drivers across raw material, packaging, manufacturing, logistics and inter‑company purchase costs.
• Identify, implement and track cost‑saving initiatives and their financial impact.
• Manage inter‑company sales pricing and working‑capital elements such as inventory forecasting, obsolescence reserves and reconciliations.
• Provide financial analysis and support for capital‑expenditure projects, from evaluation through execution.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls throughout the supply‑chain finance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency or higher.
• Minimum five years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in fast‑moving consumer goods.
• Willingness to travel to the Mercedes plant approximately six times per month.

• Financial modelling, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Power BI.
• SAP.
