Supervisor de Terreno – San Juan

About the role

WSP Argentina is seeking a Supervisor de Terreno to lead quality control activities on a large‑scale mining construction project in the province of San Juan. The role combines on‑site supervision, quality assurance management and close interaction with contractors and the client.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement quality control and assurance plans for earthworks and concrete works.
• Coordinate with contractors, client representatives and internal teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, monitor progress and report any deviations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality activities and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent technical training in civil‑related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising quality or construction of large‑scale earthworks and concrete projects.
• Proven experience in managing quality control plans and assurance processes.
• Strong communication skills with contractors and clients.
• Valid driver’s licence with defensive driving experience and 4×4 capability for mountainous terrain.
• Willingness to work on a 14‑day on / 14‑day off roster in a mining construction environment.
